Marjorie's paintings have been seen in over a hundred exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe. She served as faculty at Kendall College of Art & Design, Grand Rapids, Michigan, as State Director, Very Special Arts, Michigan Department of Education, as Superintendent of Schools for at-risk students and Executive Director, Touchstone Center for Crafts, Farmington, Pennsylvania. She also served in the position of Dean, College of Fine Arts, Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Arnett taught drawing and painting workshops at The Academy of Art in Zagreb, Croatia and selected for painting residencies in the south of France and in Tondela, Portugal. She was awarded a year residency in a small town in the Abruzzi Mountains, Italy where she lived and painted, exhibiting her work throughout the Abruzzi region. Marjorie was selected as one of the artists for the book “In the Making: 250 years/250 Artists” recognizing artists in Pennsylvania making a difference. Marjorie is also a published playwright and poet and now lives and works in Maine.
